It is crazy nowdays how much people are obsessed with celebrity gossip. I have previously blogged about this, but it never ceases to amaze me with the technology that is involved in it now. First, it was popular blogs such as Perezhilton.com, TMZ.com, and TheSuperficial.com. Now, it is TMZ.com sending their most dedicated customers celebrity gossip via text messaging. In the last few months, cell phones have become the quickest way to recieve this gossip(even before computers now)! This is because of the quickness of internet service that new cell phone technology offers. Websites such as People.com and TMZ.com have been looked at more frequently because of this celebrity obession that people cannot wait to look at when they get home to their computers. I personally think that celebrity gossip is interesting to look at, because of the fashion etc., but I also think that checking your cell phone every 10 minutes is a bit crazy!

Society as a whole has lost it's mind. If you are getting text messages on your cell phone about Brad Pitt sightings with other women and that is interesting to you, you need to take a serious look at what you are doing with your life.
I completely agree, but these tools would not be created without a market and many people-whether they admit it or not-are celebrity obsessed.
Also, Perez does text msgs as well. I'm pretty sure all those services do nowadays.
Now a days,even with normal personality gossip is in. Most of the people now a days live with gossip and it is part of our daily life. And every news we got,we give an extra time on it in order to discuss and to know the real story.
